Biography

Sylvia was born in 1986 in Bolzano. Her artistic development in the area of painting was developed at the l´Accademia di Belle Arti in Venice and the Facultad de Bellas Artes Alonso Cano in Granada.

Since 2012 she has lived and worked dividing her time between the Dolomite mountains in Italy and Rottweil in Germany.

The wide range of her work includes painting, collage, monotypes, silkscreen, ceramic sculpture, filigree metalwork and small carvings. The common thread running through her work is man, his nature and psyche. Through allegory and metaphors, Sylvia explores interpersonal and social relationships.

Her works create a mosaic of the spirit of the times and its stories as seen through the artist’s eyes, her sense of irony and gentle wit.
